How to read decimal, fractional and American odds
Odds on betting sites may appear in three different formats. They are not complicated once you understand them. The example below shows the same team's odds in all three formats.
Decimal format
If Team A wins, a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳3,000 — a profit of ৳2,000.
Fractional format
You win ৳2 profit for every ৳1 staked. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳2,000 profit plus your original ৳1,000 back.
American format (+)
The plus sign shows how much profit you make per 100 staked. +200 means a ৳100 bet returns ৳200 profit.
Example 1 — Underdog odds
Say Team A's odds are 3.00 decimal, 2/1 fractional, +200 American. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳3,000 in total if Team A wins (৳2,000 profit plus your ৳1,000 stake back). If Team A loses, the full ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite odds
Team B is the favourite at 1.25 decimal, 1/4 fractional, -400 American. The minus sign shows how much you need to stake to win ৳100. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,250 in total if Team B wins (profit of ৳250).

Live odds shift with every wicket and over
